Here is a thoughtful interaction between myself and @DeDarkPassenger on Twitter. It is all about seeking, and I for one learnt a lot from it.
He who seeks, finds…
He who seeks
Shall be found
Found by whom?
Himself….
?
Either it is too deep or it is quite complicated.
(I think the answers lie within ourselves)
and we searched
and we prayed
… but it was ourselves we found
Agreed!
Glad you understood what I was trying to say 😊
You are good at explaining complex philosophies.
I have good teachers 🙏
That’s it.

Yep, that’s it. Thanks so much @DeDarkPassenger for this interaction and for allowing me to share it here.
seek…
…and you shall be found
It is true that you do not find God/a guru, the latter finds you. And it’s equally true that finding yourself is akin to finding God, for what are we except for a piece of Him? You’ve turned a profound truth into a simple, six word sentence. Bravo! Needless to say, I find you extremely good at these things!

Thank you! I would say credit (or blame) goes to Twitter for all the brevity in my writing.

Long time ago my eldest brother showed me a quote, he said, ‘ranu can you read this?’
I remember reading the quote, ‘Seek and Ye Shall Find.’ My answer to my brother was , it means look and you’ll find what you’re looking for.’
I was in third standard, my brother was quite pleased to hear my answer.
There are things we want so badly at times, but do not try to find what we’re looking for.
In my mind I feel the best way to seek is to ask God’s help, if we are sincere, He will help us find it.
What a lovely post Sonya, takes me back to my childhood. Thank you so much. :)

Dear Sonya,
Thank you for sharing with us this poetic exchange.
It is interesting what the pirs, murshids, gurus, and saints point to, that is, that something inspires us to seek, and that what is seeking is also what is sought.
The thirsty seek water. And yet water also seeks the thirsty
All good wishes,
