though you do not understand
i need to write
though you do not reply
i need to write
though you do not read
i still need to write
and when all the words run out
and all my dreams become real
and all of time freezes into now
what then shall become of this writer?

There are times when I read or hear the words of others expressing exactly what my experience is like. This is one of those times. I feel so moved.
Every word resonates on a cellular level. Inviting me to be with the part in me that finds deep meaning in writing, longs to write and the part that believes (falsely) that there is no point. To be a witness and gently facilitate a conversation between these two parts of my self. Thank you for this tender inspiration.
