some times i believe
half
of a quarter
of a third
other times i question
half
of a quarter
of a third
some beliefs are too beautiful
to question
[what if reasoning
makes them bland
even, wrong]
some questions, absurd
woke
misunderstood
meandering
between, around
belief and questioning
there is a narrow path
unconstrained by time
and on this path
i shall be free
to surrender
wholly
unstained by belief
unbothered by reasoning
till then
i remain, proudly yours
a half believer
accept my half belief
or not
in the end
you will
[have to]
accept me
when i surrender

Dear Sonya,
Thank you for this beautiful poem. It causes us to question beliefs, non-beliefs, and sincerity, all leading to a place wherein we may not get our questions answered, but we may certainly come closer to having our answers questioned :).
All good wishes,
robert

Thank you Robert, getting our answers questioned will certainly lead to thought provoking dialogue.

“I believe” is a strong statement to make, I much prefer to say “I doubt my doubts” 😉
