turn around

continued from the first lifetime

i fear to turn around
because then i would have to
face my past
a past without memories
what would it look like?

i wonder about the moments
that made me who i am today
and what about the today
that will change me for tomorrow?

better to
forget,
for then
no more a need
to forgive

(to be concluded, perhaps)

concluded in mistake my silence

  1. Dear Sonya,

What a beautiful depiction of life. You highlight that forgetting can be leveraged for various reasons. This is quite a helpful topic of consideration.

    All good wishes,
