still is for always
as darkness is, forever
be still in the midst of vibration
recognise the dark side of nothing
touch that part within, unstained by memory
and watch, even god shall become your slave

“that part within” is the Chitta
Here is a brilliant explanation about Chitta by Sadhguru
Hmmmm, I’ve said it earlier and I’ll say it again – your pieces make me think. Good going, Sonya!

Thanks Kunal, though I did very little except transmit what I found interesting in the article.

Hi Noorya,
Everything that moves eventually shall exhaust itself. Though we speak of “the light” and “enlightenment”, light is only temporary. I have written more about this here:
https://followyourshadow.me/2015/05/29/enlightenment/
The second verse talks about the experience of meditation.
Finally, to understand the the last couplet do read the article I have linked. It is fascinating.
Hope my reply has shed some light (err…. I mean, dark!) on this poem :)

Dear Sonya,
Thank you for this poem. It is you who attracted me to Sadhguru’s teachings which I now regularly read. Thank you!
Your poem is meditative.
All good wishes,
