Silent Words

Silent words carry potent curses
Unheard but spoken
Unconstrained by language
Unreleased anger
Incomplete goodbyes

  1. I know what you’re saying, but… sometimes, silent words also carry unspoken of love, deep feelings, muted cries… a thousand emotions which one can’t bring oneself to utter aloud.

Incomplete goodbyes are the worst – they linger for ever! Great to see you back, BTW!

  2. Dear Sonya,

Thank you for this poem. It reminds me of how our words are rooted inside us, and even if not spoken, are communicated.

    All good wishes,
