safer faith

just when you thought
your quest was safer
faith came in the way
limiting questions
restricting thoughts
answers, answers everywhere

just about everyone
seems to have an answer
for just about everything
what is wrong in saying
“i don’t know”
?

  1. Loved this. I quote someone from an editorial I read a few days back : “When someone says that he has the key to all the locks, the solutions to all the problems – that person is precisely the danger you have to fight against”.
Only the wise know that there is much more to know than they already do :)

  2. Indeed. They are brave words: “I don’t know” and we don’t say them often enough. Profound thought there. Thanks for sharing.

  3. Dear Sonya,

Thank you for sharing this poem with us. “Faith” often does come with well prescribed parameters. Then there is the open field of faith which is quite different indeed.

The last three words of your poem say something that is very powerful.

    All good wishes,
