not every courtyard shows the night stars
not every desert is destined to be barren
not every wave has submitted to gravity
not every river longs to meet the sea
not every tear is shed in sorrow
nor in joy…
not every butterfly is aware of her beauty
not every light has the ability to enlighten
not every thought passes through the mind
not every race will be completed
not every prayer shall be answered
though all prayers may be received
perhaps…
not every scream is heard
not every heart is capable of breaking
not every soul has been paired
some walk alone
but not in loneliness…
not every hero is celebrated
not every freedom liberates you
and…
not every poem needs a title

Not every conveyor of beauty gets praised, Not every piece of wisdom is rational, Not every untitled poem is rudderless… This one has a very focussed message, is very thought provoking and should be praised very much. This is my humble attempt at praising the Poet…

Thank you so much. I am glad I made the effort to re-write this poem, as I am content with the way it turned out.

Dear Sonya,
Thank you for this poem. Not everything in the world can be placed. This is a lovely poem which challenges assumptions.
All good wishes,

Thank you Robert. I wrote this poem some time ago and lost the paper. Though I was disappointed I took the effort to re-write it differently and am happy with the way it turned out. Next time, I should immediately type out my musings, lesson learnt. The loss of my work felt heavy.
