sides of a coin

though both sides of a coin
deny the presence of the other
they remain forever bound together
tossed by the thumbs of fate

  1. This is a truly moving poem… very artfully put, Sonya! I sometimes wonder about the fate that brought together the souls of my twin daughters… and your words seem like they are pointing me towards something… :-)

  2. Dear Sonya,

Thank you for this poem. It seems we are, with each other, different sides of the same coin. If we knew this, and, more importantly, lived it, the world could become a different place.

    All good wishes,
