wordless poetry

though their obituaries are wordless
poetry shall be recited by angels
at the tiny graves of martyrs victims
whose only fault was
they happen to be born
on the other side of the wall

This poem is about the children of Gaza and a reminder of the people suffering oppression and injustice. At the same time, I urge you to be persistently aware of the many atrocities against humanity all over the world, regardless of religion, race, tribe, gender, location and speak up …. however loud or soft your voice is, I strongly believe it shall be heard.

  1. An angel did compose poetry for them in this case… An empathetic soul in a cruel cosmos… While I also feel helpless about this and other similar situations, the best I can do is offer my prayers… The reminder to be thankful for the safety of my children is also very welcome!

    1. Those are beautiful wishes, thank you! I read your poem, the situation has not changed sadly, only become worse. But keep spreading the message and awareness through the beauty of your words.
