and why indeed are they referred to as revelations
when all their meanings remain hidden
under layers of verses
disguised as poetry with a purpose
and why indeed were they revealed for all mankind
while the common worshipper
relies on scholars to sift through
yet continue to argue on what is true
and why do we grip the word in our fist
letting its significance slip away like grains of sand
why indeed do the few hoard all knowledge
when it is the sharing that enhances it
and like withered leaves
the truth is distorted
and we cry for yet another revelation
a shameless mockery of His word

That is so true.
Thank you for your comments. I really appreciate you featuring my post on your blog. This is a poem close to my heart.
A revelation indeed!
Great to see you here Deepu, lovely to have your appreciation.
I very much like the new art at the top of your blog. Very nice.
All good wishes,
Thank you for your appreciation. I decided on a new look. Credit proudly goes to my elder daughter for painting the guitar and taking the beautiful shot of the basket plus rose petals.
This very wonderful poem speaks, to this person, about the inherence of revelation in a real locus. According to me, those who hoard find themselves with counterfeit gold.
Thank goodness for those who point to the real spigot. Renew the distorted, and Truth shines!
Wonderful poem. Thank you for it.
All good wishes,
Thank you dear Robert. Indeed the truth will shine. Best wishes back to you :-)
