Woke to separate realities

Descendants of a prior dimension
Two souls thrown apart
Destiny we defied

Followed different faiths
Recognized they were One
Why then can we not be together

The first word that described our awareness and our consciousness was I, but our world view was limited until our I knew the word you. Word You actually was extension of our understand of ourselves it actually gave us an insight into ourselves. You is actually mirror of our I and we cannot know ourselves in absence of You.
The poem speaks about this most tender relationship which harnesses us as warp and weft that makes this beautiful fabric known as life.
